Question regarding the math used in programming

Hi, I'm 15 and very interested in pursuing a career in programming/video game development. However, math is not my strong suit. So my question is, how big a part of programming is math, from what I hear, it's mostly algebra, is it advanced algebra or basic? Is there anywhere I could see an example of it, or is there somewhere better to post this? Thanks.
