How do you become passionate about something? Trying to help a friend become passionate about something.
I have a friend who told me had no passions, and he wished he had something he was passionate about. So I was thinking about how people develop passion (I define passion as really enjoying something. You may have a hobby you're obsessed with, not just interested in. Or you really enjoy your job, etc. I believe that's passion). It's interesting sometimes when we start something, we may not like it. But when we do it enough times, and see progress and growth in it, we start to become passionate about it. I've been reflecting on how I wasn't always passionate about web design, but the more I did it, and the more I improved, the more passion I had for it.
I'm curious about other people's experiences on this. What are some things you are passionate about, or have been passionate about? Were you passionate about it right from the start, or did the passion develop over time? If it developed over time, what do you think caused you to be more passionate about it?
