Hooking up things to a Smart TV Good Morning! Little Old Lady, here, with Smart TV questions. I've got a Smart TV and at this point, I do believe it's just a tad smarter than I am... :-P It has a couple of things on it that I don't understand- one of which is screen sharing. Does that mean that if I put a DVD into my PC that I can play it on my TV? If not, what is that for?
My son got me a Chromecast, I do have it hooked up to my TV, and have figured out how to use it on my own. (I was SO proud of myself when I did that!) But I keep seeing these Prime Day ads for Fire sticks cheap, Should I get one of those, too? Or are those things only another way for Amazon to get into your wallet? And if so, I don't have a spare USB plug on my tv- can I use the same kind of splitter I've got on my computer to plug in my scanner and printer into, or would a USB splitter not work on a smart tv? (Mine is a Samsung)
Thank you in advance for the help and the patience with all my questions!
